A manta ray crosses the sea nicely wrapped up. A wordplay between words and image where the stripes multiply and humor transforms the everyday into a small, unexpected scene.

The work is in perfect condition.
The marked dimensions of the piece are those of the painting once stretched and mounted on the frame. The actual measurements of the canvas are larger to allow for its mounting.

I am a visual artist with a figurative focus. I draw inspiration from nature and usually observe it closely; very often I take photographs to capture unusual frames, seeking perspectives that are uncommon and lead to interesting compositions. Although I start from reality, I like to transform the color palette to move closer to a fantastical reality. I enjoy reinterpreting the world from my imagination and capturing that personal version of things.
Sometimes my work becomes more geometric, closer to illustration. I like to explore abstract or geometric interpretations of elements and concepts, as a different form of expression within my visual language.
I also create digital illustration, a medium I enjoy for its logic, distinct from painting: I experience it as a game with different rules, opening up new visual and creative possibilities.
As an architect, I find mural painting to be the perfect way to unite my two passions: art and space design. Intervening walls, both indoors and outdoors, allows me to bring my work to another scale and transform the environment in a direct, vivid, and meaningful way.
