Juniper bonsai (Juniperus) in a small Mame/Shohin pot (7 cm high, 8x8 cm) with a 33 cm crown and 28 cm total height, featuring two vertical deadwood elements (Jin/Tenjin) forming a sculptural silhouette.
Description from the seller
Juniper Bonsai with Sinuous Dry Wood – Mame/Shohin Pot 8 cm
Product Description:
In sale a creation of great character and stylistic research: a Juniper Bonsai (Juniperus) housed in a tiny setting pot, enriched by a double dry-wood structure (Jin / Tenjin) that rises vertically with sinuous and elegant lines.
The composition plays on a strong visual contrast: a small container of only 8 cm supporting an expansive horizontal canopy spanning 33 cm, crossed by aged dry branches that rise up to a total height of 28 cm.
Technical Measurements and Details:
Total height (plant + dry-wood extension): 28 cm
Canopy width: 33 cm
Base trunk width / nebari: 5 cm
Pot dimensions: Octagonal/cultivation pot for Mame/Shohin, 7 cm high x 8 cm x 8 cm
Style: Mame/Shohin with vertical emphasis in sculptural dry wood
Strength Points:
1. Spectacular Pot-Canopy Ratio: The micro-pot gives a strong sense of lightness and suspension, maximizing the prominence of the canopy width.
2. Dual Line of Dead Wood: The two vertical dry elements (one serpentine blade-like, the other V-branching) create a dramatic frame and dramatize the tree’s profile.
3. Dense and Compact Foliage: Full, bright green canopy that is perfectly structured horizontally.
