Description from the seller
Nutella extinguisher, when indulgence waits for no one! by XTC.
Completely painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Hand-finished aluminium sculpture by the Artist XTC with acrylic paint and varnish, created on a commercially manufactured blank base (extinguisher). The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Numbered and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The shipped item is not necessarily the one shown in the photo)
Careful and tracked shipment.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration evolved into a passion that needed to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught contemporary artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (like McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), making them collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or Caviar) and street art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections (recovered extinguisher) are an integral part of the artwork.
Empty extinguisher. (It is, of course, illegal to sell a full extinguisher whose compliance labels and/or the pin are missing)
