Description from the seller
Seth - Marianne Dream
On June 16, 2026, the artist Seth unveiled Marianne Dream, a temporary installation on the colonnade of the Palais-Bourbon. Visible from the Place de la Concorde and the banks of the Seine, this monumental work will be on view to the general public as well as to visitors of the Assembly until September 28.
Aureoled by a starry sky, a young Marianne watches over the horizon. She emerges from a wave, in the shape of a tricolor cockade, that fills the space of the colonnade. The contrast between the simplicity of the girl and the classical structure gives her both an impression of fragility and of strength.
Facing the National Assembly, Marianne disperses seeds of liberty. Proud, she moves forward fearlessly toward the future.
By occupying the colonnade, Seth brings poetry, imagination, and color into the very heart of the institution. He reminds, through his creation, of art’s ability to bring people together, to question, and to project into the future.

Known under the name Seth Globepainter, he has been traveling the world since 2003 to create poetic and colorful fresques. His child figures, often shown from behind, invite reflection on innocence, imagination, and social realities. His distinctive universe has made him a widely recognized figure in contemporary street art. His work will appeal to urban art enthusiasts and collectors interested in Banksy, JR, Invader, Shepard Fairey (Obey), Vhils, or Ernest Pignon-Ernest, all major references in this artistic scene.
