wein.plus about the 2022 Winkeler Jesuitengarten Riesling GG Großes Gewächs: Slight herbal-vegetal nose with clear, rather calm yellow-fruit aromas, floral traces, hints of mollusks and garlic and a little mineral in the background. Very lightly developed, again calm, softly sweet yellow fruit with nutty and vegetal to herbal notes, moderate acidity, some persistence on the palate, a touch of finesse, a hint of perfumed, background tart stony-salty minerality, a very good, fairly firm finish with a slight sweetness, but also a harsh spiciness.

The vineyard: Charta is a selection from our best sites. In Winkel and Geisenheim our grapes grow on 30- to 50-year-old vines. The base wines for this high-quality cuvée come exclusively from the classified VDP.Große Lagen.
