AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Large silver-colored Hofleverancier relief plaque with the Dutch Royal Coat of Arms – Aluminum – 50 × 44 cm
Beautiful and impressively large Hofleverancier plaque, executed in silver-colored aluminum with a richly detailed, prominently raised relief.
At the center is the Dutch Royal Coat of Arms, with the crowned lion, two shield-bearing lions, the royal crown and the motto ‘Je Maintiendrai’. At the bottom, on an elegant ribbon, appears the designation ‘HOFLEVERANCIER’.
The plaque is richly adorned with classical ornaments, draped curtains, decorative bows and a decorative crown. The deep relief and the silver-colored finish give it a stately and striking appearance.
The plaque is made from formed/pressed aluminum and, despite its generous size, is relatively light in weight. The back side clearly shows the relief shapes.
