A pair of vintage brass oil lamps dating to 1800–1850, in good used condition and made entirely of solid brass, with turned stems, floral relief decorations and an aged patina, including four glass chimneys (two mounted on the lamps and two spares).
Description from the seller
Splendid and rare contemporary pair of oil (kerosene) table lamps made entirely in solid brass. Both burners mount the famous circular wick system stamped on the regulation wheel "Kosmos Brenner", synonymous with extremely high technical quality from the late nineteenth century. The lamps feature a beautiful and elegant classic line with a turned shaft and raised floral decorations on the central reservoir. The brass finish preserves a magnificent original patina of the era. The lot is exceptionally complete and includes a total of no fewer than 4 blown transparent glass chimneys (2 already mounted on the lamps and 2 additional spare ones, a greatly rare item given the fragility of these historical components).
