MAINO - SUPERLUXURY - Road bicycle - 1947

Maino Superlusso from 1947 is a vintage bicycle of particular collectible interest, belonging to the high-end production of the Maino brand, a historic Piedmontese builder known mainly for road bicycles and models intended for a wealthy and discerning clientele.

The Superlusso model is the period’s flagship, distinguished by construction quality and by certain finishing details that place it in the upper tier of Maino’s postwar production.

Fork and frame with invisible joints, braking system with fully internal rigid transmissions, horn-shaped grips and small horn knobs, curled saddle, fenders with a nickel-ribbed edge, tubular chain guard with rear inspection window. A bicycle of historical interest and economically in the high-end range.

The buyer can choose the original saddle visible in the photos or the curled one mounted.

In case of shipment the bike will be carefully packed in appropriate cartons without disassembling the handlebars, as the brake rods are housed in the head tube, making reassembly easy.
