Description from the seller
Brass Walking Cane with Integrated Decoration Telescope – Dollond London 1920 - Reproduction 2024
A stylish brass walking cane in which a full decorative telescope is integrated. At the top there is a gold-colored engraved knop with the inscription "DOLLOND - 1920 - LONDON". When this knop is removed, the mechanism is revealed. The telescope can be tilted out of the shaft and fixed to the integrated stand using the side adjustment screw. The shaft of the walking cane is also richly detailed and features a fine, deep engraving. Here you can read the texts "ROYAL FAMILY", "LONDON-1920" and vertically the designation "WALKINGSTICK", decorated with a classic fleur-de-lis and a star.
The walking cane is made of heavy brass and finished with a dark antique patina and artisanal copper rivet details. The whole is in excellent, well-preserved condition with a beautiful authentic appearance. A unique eye-catcher for the enthusiast of nautical instruments, antiques, or maritime decoration. THE TELESCOPE ITSELF IS MAINLY DECORATIVE.
The height of the walking cane is 90 cm, the width 14.5 cm when the telescope is extended, and the depth 6 cm.
The weight of the walking cane is 760 grams.
The walking cane will be safely and carefully packaged and shipped.
