Description from the seller
Pocket watch with a Wonderful Cartouche Dial splendidly decorated.
After years of handling pocket watches, this is a model I have never seen before.
Stunning aesthetic impact, a restoration at the 9 o'clock position on the dial, and two small chips visible in the photos at the edges of the watch, which I advise paying attention to to avoid cuts or abrasions.
That it is a Rare Watch is also evidenced by the interior case number being only two digits.
These, and a few other time-worn traces to note, as far as aesthetics are concerned—if I am being tedious I apologize, but I tend to specify everything I notice.
Regarding the mechanism, the watch runs and keeps good time for several minutes, but occasionally I see it, so to speak, in a bit of distress, and for this a lubrication is recommended or, at most, a cleaning.
