Mighty Jaxx - Toy figurine A Wood Awakening – #FR2 Edition by Juce Gace

Step into the irreverent world of Juce Gace with this A Wood Awakening – #FR2 Edition, a three-way collaboration between Mighty Jaxx, the Australian artist Juce Gace, and the cult Japanese streetwear label #FR2. Released in November 2021, this piece takes the classic tale of Pinocchio and gives it a cheeky, adults-only twist. Everyone knows Pinocchio’s nose grows when he lies, but in Juce Gace’s world it doesn’t always grow where you’d expect. The result is a bold, humorous art toy that sits right at the crossroads of pop culture, street art and Japanese fashion.

The figure shows Pinocchio with his arms thrown up in shock, dressed head-to-toe in #FR2 gear: a vibrant yellow hoodie with blue trim, bunny ears on the hood, and the brand’s iconic “Smoking kills.” box logo on the chest. Red #FR2 shorts with the yellow side-tape logo, white cartoon gloves, carved wooden-textured legs and chunky brown shoes complete the look. His wide blue eyes, rosy cheeks and open-mouthed expression capture the moment of “awakening” perfectly. A small white #FR2 rabbit figure, the brand’s mascot, comes alongside him, arms raised in the same pose and sharing the same mischievous joke.

This is an official Mighty Jaxx Originals release and comes as a complete set, with the original illustrated box, the Mighty Jaxx Certificate of Authenticity (black and gold), and the care card. Both figures have been displayed indoors, handled with care, and show no chips, scratches or paint defects. The box is in very good condition. A standout piece for any designer toy collector, #FR2 fan, or anyone who appreciates art with a sense of humour.
