Volume 1 was published in February 1943 , this has a Red Cloth Binding , with a brighter red Spine
The Front Cover is Gilt Stamped with the title’s Geographical Hardback Series , Algeria Volume 1

A printed Slip tipped into the front indicates the volume was produced for Official purpose during the 1939-45 Second World War.
A footnote states the information was in press in November 1942.

Algeria , Volume 11 was published in 1944 , this volume is also bound in red cloth with gilt glittering to the front cover.

The contents include detailed chapters on relief , drainage, Geology, The Coast, and Climate
Like Volume 1 it contains a printed slip regarding its official Wartime Production, and a
note stating that information subsequent,to the Allied Landings in French North America is generally excluded.
Both Volumes were printed by the University Presses at Oxford & Cambridge.
