BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Cádiz and currently reside and work in Barcelona. I am a painter and my work focuses mainly on landscape, understood as a space of pictorial exploration where I investigate atmosphere, matter and the perception of the environment. I graduated in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona, where I subsequently completed a master's and earned a Cum Laude doctorate, developing training that combines artistic practice with theoretical research. My pictorial work mainly develops through oil painting, a medium with which I explore the construction of the landscape from a contemporary perspective, being interested in the relationship between nature, memory and visual experience. I am also developing a line of work with acrylic painting. Throughout my career I have participated in solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. My practice centers on the landscape as a field of pictorial inquiry, where painting becomes a way of thinking and experimenting with the territory through matter and color.
