This expressive acrylic on canvas work delves into figurative cubism and contemporary pop art, presenting a monumental close-up of the face of a cat with a magnetic and piercing gaze. The composition is articulated through a complex network of geometric facets and curved lines outlined by thick, bold black contours, evoking the aesthetic structure of a modern stained glass window. The color palette is rich, saturated, and intensely vibrant, combining cool tones of cobalt blue, turquoise, and violet with warm notes of yellow, orange, green, and red that bring constant dynamism to the piece. The cat’s yellow eyes act as the dominant focal point of the work, while the white whiskers with clean strokes add contrast and lightness, resulting in a painting full of character, chromatic balance, and a strong visual impact.
