Medsan, No-Face Under the Streetlight (街灯の下のカオナシ) – a unique 1/1 giclée on canvas, 40 × 40 cm, signed, produced in France in 2026, in excellent condition, edition: limited.
Description from the seller
ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1
In this square format, Medsan places No-Face, the masked spirit from Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away, on a wet sidewalk at the base of a lit lamppost. He stands motionless in his long black silhouette and faces the one who watches him. His white mask, marked with mauve lines beneath the eyes, keeps a fixed and peaceful gaze. Behind him runs a high gray wall, cut on the right by a dark gate between two pillars. Beyond, a two-chimney house rests in the dense shade of the trees. Upstairs, two windows remain closed behind their shutters, and the third glows with a warm yellow light.
The street belongs to the night, with its slate blue and deep blacks. On the rain-slick pavement, the golden reflections of the lantern and the window stretch out. Above the roof, however, the sky is that of a full afternoon, a bright blue sprinkled with round white clouds. Day and night share the same street, and No-Face waits between the two.
A piece that is both peaceful and strange, ideal for adding a touch of mystery to an interior of a collector who loves the Ghibli universe.
