In this landscape format, Medsan places us on a wet sidewalk at night, in front of the large display window of an arcade hall where Ryu, the Street Fighter fighter, plays alone. We see him from behind. The ends of his red headband fall onto his shoulder, and he wears his white kimono with torn sleeves, his black belt, bare feet on the checkered tile. Leaning over the Street Fighter II arcade machine by Capcom, hands on the controls, he fixes the screen where two fighters duel under the KO word. Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under Popsan, he revisits icons of popular culture by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms.
