MEDSAN - Lightning McQueen Cliff Road (崖道のライトニング・マックィーン) - UNIQUE WORK

THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1

In this vertical format, Medsan takes Flash McQueen, the red racecar from Disney Pixar's Cars, to the edge of a cliff. We see him from a three-quarter rear view. He wheels along a narrow stone road clinging to the cliff, with the Rust-eze logo on his spoiler, the number 95 and his yellow bolt on the side, and he seems to slow down to look at the landscape opening before him. Down below, a sea of clouds envelops jagged rock spires topped with pines. To the right, waterfalls pour from the cliffs, a stone arch bridge spans the void, and pagodas rise on the peaks. A large red sun sinks on the horizon, in an orange sky streaked with vermilion clouds over a deep blue.

In the foreground, red maples line the road and a few leaves swirl in the wind. In the top right corner, a caption in black bears the name カーズ. A circuit champion, alone facing the mountain at sunset.

A bright, dynamic piece, ideal for adding a touch of pop culture and Japan to the interior of a car‑enthusiast collector.

About Medsan / Popsan :
Medsan and Popsan are two signatures of a single artist. Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits pop culture icons by blending pop art, Japanese art and anachronisms. On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe. He creates at Atelier Joconde, a family artists’ workshop, alongside Le Yack (figurative painting) and Neo Pablo (abstraction).
