Description from the seller

Stylish oil painting on canvas signed A. Comitale, depicting a landscape traversed by a flock of sheep and a female figure. The work stands out for the delicacy of the tonalities and for the summer atmosphere rendered with swift and vibrant brushstrokes, which give depth and movement to the scene.

Antonio Comitale was an Italian painter active in Italy between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, from the Neapolitan area, known for his naturalistic landscapes of great allure, often characterized by rural views and luminous atmospheres typical of the southern artistic tradition.

The painting is presented in a platinum-colored frame that enhances its composition.
