Description from the seller
Beautiful, original, unpublished painting created by contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968).
In “L’Arlecchino”, Sergio Zampieri offers a fascinating fusion of figuration and geometric abstraction, where the sensuality of the female body intertwines with a vortex of shapes, colors and material. The figure, abandoned in a sinuous and theatrical pose, seems to emerge and dissolve into a dynamic mosaic of chromatic fragments. The tactile golds, deep blues, and coppery tones converse with black, creating a refined balance between light, movement and depth.
The allusion to Harlequin manifests in the multichrome decomposition of the forms, reinterpreted through a contemporary and deeply personal language. The subtle lines crossing the composition emphasize the tension between geometric order and expressive freedom.
An artwork of notable visual energy, in which the painting material becomes the protagonist and femininity is transformed into an elegant celebration of color, sensuality and movement.
The work is archived and permanently visible on the artist’s official website www.sergiozampieri.it where you can find further information about his artistic journey.
