-> Very rare and sought-after piece in excellent vintage condition with unpolished case. The crystal shows no scratches. The original bracelet is also preserved.

Age-related wear is visible on the case. It is mostly superficial wear and no deep scratches.

Transparency note regarding the bracelet

The leather strap shows overall only light wear and is original from the 1990s. Due to its age, however, it exhibits normal material wear and one spot has been glued.

As this is a leather original strap over 30 years old, the watch should be put on and taken off carefully and the leather should not be bent or stressed unnecessarily. A warranty for the future durability of the strap cannot be assumed.

For regular or long-term use of the watch we recommend preserving the original historic strap and replacing it with a new leather strap. The original strap can remain as a component of the watch.

Description:
An exceptional Movado Museum Horizon Ref. 87-90-820 from the 1990s – a characteristic example of the iconic, minimalist design of the Movado Museum Watch.

The deep black dial is reduced to the essential: the characteristic gold dot at 12 o’clock and two slender gold hands. Particularly exceptional is the construction of the Horizon, where the dark crystal extends beyond the actual round dial to the lugs. The gold bezel provides an elegant contrast and gives the watch its unmistakable, architectural appearance.

With a diameter of only about 24 mm without the crown and a lug-to-lug measurement of about 27 mm, the Horizon presents itself as very elegant and discreet on the wrist.

The original black leather strap from the 1990s as well as the original Movado clasp are preserved. Please note the separate transparency note regarding the strap’s age-related condition.
