Magnificent and impressive Italian decorative ewer in an Egyptianizing style, dating probably from the second half of the 20th century.
This elegant piece is distinguished by its superb polychrome decoration inspired by ancient Egypt, depicting an Egyptian figure surrounded by traditional motifs, stylized hieroglyphs and raised lotus flowers.
The ceramic body, entirely hand-decorated, is paired with a rich metallic mount with a silvered finish, including a sculpted, finely worked handle, an elegant spout and a circular ornamented base.
