K.u.K. Fregatten-capitan J. Von Muller e K.u.K. Linienschiff-lieutenant Wilhelm Kesslitz - Die Missions-Reise S. M. Schiff "Albatros" 1895-1898 - 1899

18995-1898 ALBATROS
Rare book, supplement to a work, with an important dedication from the commander, co-author, J. VON MAULERE in 1900 to Her Excellency Lady SELMA CORONINI VON CRONBERG, Countess of the County of Gorizia.
The book is a kind of supplementary pamphlet with two folded maps and deals with the exploratory mission of the ship Albatros from 1895 to 1898 in the Solomon Islands, in which there was a battle with the indigenous populations with heavy losses of men.
The book presents stains and abrasions on the cover; internally the pages are yellowed, but readable and do not show tears; the last plate is detached. To see every merit and defect simply observe the photos.
