This oil painting on canvas is a vibrant figurative composition that captures the raw energy and coordinated grace of two majestic white horses galloping through shallow waters. The work, executed with dynamic and impressionistic brushstrokes, shows a powerful interaction between the animals, whose muscular bodies are reflected gracefully on the water surface. The artist has employed a rich earthy color palette, with sepia, ochre, brown and cream tones, evoking a warm sunset or sunrise light, creating an ethereal atmosphere that emphasizes the movement and strength of the subject. The background, composed of abstract shapes and blurred groves, serves to highlight the definition of the horses, while the foreground is dominated by textured water splashes and reflections, giving the piece an immersive and sensory quality.
