This poster was created for the celebration of the "60th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution".
The poster titled "Ché Guevara Vs Coca-Cola" was designed in 2019 by the prominent Cuban artist Juan Carlos SOLANO (1971), who for 30 years has been a recognized and award-winning artist for works in plastic arts, both posters and oil paintings. Always using various techniques and following the latest trends that shape his body of work.
In this work Solano is inspired by the works of renowned street artist Banksy and pays him a personal homage.
The artist Solano prints in this poster the famous guerrilla Che Guevara walking his dog that urinates on the wall where the Coca-Cola brand is, symbol of American capitalism which he fought so hard to defeat in his life.
This is the first time posters by this author have gone on sale outside Cuba.
