Preferred themes: He is renowned especially for his seascapes, fishing villages (such as Ischia, Pozzuoli, Sorrento and Positano), the little harbors and the iconic moored fishing boats, just like those visible in pasquale-vuotto.
Critics sometimes liken his chromatic sensitivity to that of the Post-Impressionist movements or the Macchiaioli. He uses oil colors to give extraordinary depth and a sense of movement to the water and sky, immortalizing particular hours of the day such as dawns, sunsets, or cloudy days.
Recognitions: In addition to being a reference point in Italian art galleries, his works have crossed national borders, being exhibited and collected abroad, particularly in the United States, in England and in Germany.
