1997 Tenuta San Guido, Sassicaia - Tuscany, Bolgheri - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

The end of winter and the beginning of spring were temperate and very dry, which helped early sprouting (about 10 days early). In April, temperatures dropped, blocking the growth of sprouts.
The summer period was hot and sunny, continuing through September and for the entire duration of the harvest, allowing us to harvest grapes with a high sugar concentration and very healthy. The 97 harvest was poorer than expected but it is an exceptional vintage, probably higher than 1990.
