Description
Emberlight 2 from the Birch Reflections series transports the viewer into a mysterious autumn landscape, where nature glows in the warm light of a glowing sunset.
Slender, white-silvery birches with their characteristic dark markings frame the view of a distant mountain landscape. Behind them, an intense sky unfolds in bright reds, corals, and golds, while the last sunbeams bathe the landscape in an almost surreal atmosphere.
Particularly expressive are the delicate branches with their gold leaves. Their shimmering accents lend the painting an elegant, decorative dimension and change their effect depending on the light and viewing angle.
The fusion of powerful colors, gentle transitions in landscape, and stylized elements of nature creates a harmonious balance between reality and fantasy.
Emberlight 2 is a homage to the quiet magic of autumn – to those fleeting moments when light, color, and nature merge into a special unity.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has dedicated herself to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-scale works that balance between stillness and movement, structure and lightness.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, structure gels, and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, her paintings do not dominate the space but fill it with a quiet presence.
Her artistic creation follows the concept "So sounds the silence" – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence. In this silence there is no emptiness for Faber, but a living force: the breathing of light, the whisper of colors, the soft pulsing of space.
Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg and are today in private collections in Europe, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates.
