Excellent condition, first edition with the author's dedication of a travel diary across Italy from south to north (Palermo, Naples and the islands, Rome, Florence, Bologna, Parma, Mantua, Venice, Padua, Verona, Brescia, Milan, Turin) with interesting observations not only historical-artistic but also on the situation of the newly formed kingdom (e.g., regarding the Waldensian community of Florence): the author was also a politician.
