DESCRIPTION
Up for auction is a vintage 1/20 scale Tamiya plastic model kit of the iconic Brabham BT50 BMW Turbo, driven by Nelson Piquet and Riccardo Patrese during the 1982 Formula 1 season. Designed by Gordon Murray and powered by the 1.5-liter BMW turbocharged inline-4 engine, the BT50 was Brabham’s pioneer turbo car that led Piquet to victory at the 1982 Canadian Grand Prix.
