Description from the seller
Authentic and rare cache-pot (or jardinière vase) in fine LIMOGES porcelain, fully made and decorated by the prestigious Elite Works (Bawo & Dotter) manufactory.
Thanks to its red stamp under the base depicting the Saint Martial coat of arms, guaranteeing that the structure and the decoration were made by the same manufactory, it allows dating this piece precisely between 1896 and 1900.
Magnificent handmade work from the Art Nouveau period / late Victorian era.
Powder pink gradient on the upper part, enhanced by a superb motif of thistles and foliage applied in fine gold.
The neck features a very elegant scalloped and undulating rim.
This fine porcelain has stood the test of time and retains all its charm.
Note for perfect transparency: the gilding is worn away in places on the scalloped neck due to its age, and the piece has only a single small, barely visible chip (see photos).
No major cracks: the porcelain remains very sound and resonant.
A superb historical collectible piece, ideal for charming decoration.
Ideal size for a dresser, table, or display cabinet.
Very carefully and ultra-secure shipping (bubble wrap and double boxing) guaranteed.
