Description from the seller
Alan / BMZ Vintage - Hybrid Bicycle / Carbon and Aluminum Fitness Bike
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
In this auction, a particular and fascinating vintage hybrid bicycle, characterized by a frame built with the historic Alan technology using carbon fiber tubes joined by red anodized aluminum joints. The design combines the lightness of a carbon-aluminum mixed structure with a road geometry adapted for urban or fitness use, enhanced by two-tone black glossy and metallic red details and the BMZ logos.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS
The bicycle is equipped with high-end mixed components. The drivetrain features an era-appropriate Shimano 600 crankset and rear derailleur, paired with integrated shift levers on the straight handlebar. The braking system uses Miranda Classic aluminum brake levers and traditional racing brakes. The cockpit presents a straight flat/hybrid type handlebar with comfortable grips, mounted on a classic stem. The saddle is a renowned ergonomic Selle Italia Elite titanium model mounted on a carbon seatpost. Completing the setup are a bottle cage with a water bottle and wheels with aluminum rims and tubular tires.
CONDITION AND AESTHETIC STATE
The vehicle is in good overall conservative condition, showing normal signs of aging and amateur use. The carbon frame with red aluminum joints is solid and structurally intact. The paintwork and anodized parts retain a nice shine, with light surface marks due to age. The saddle shows slight wear on the sides. Mechanical components are present and preserved, though a general tune-up before use is advisable.
SHIPPING AND PACKAGING NOTES
The lot will be packed with extreme care and shipped via courier with tracking and insurance. Note that, most likely to ensure safer shipping and reduce package volume, some parts of the bicycle will be disassembled, such as pedals, saddle, rims, and the handlebars will be rotated/adjusted.
