Torpado Vintage - Gold Steel Vintage Racing Bicycle Campagnolo
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Up for auction is a fascinating and iconic Torpado vintage racing bicycle, a classic example of the great Italian vintage cycling. The steel frame features a rare and elegant metallic gold/ochre yellow finish, completed by original black Torpado decals and logos placed on the down tube, seat tube, and top tube.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS
The bicycle is equipped with high-quality classic vintage components. The drivetrain boasts a vintage Campagnolo rear derailleur, a Campagnolo front derailleur on a clamp, down‑tube shift levers, and a refined aluminum double-chainring crankset paired with vintage metal pedals with toe clips and straps. The braking system uses vintage brake calipers and brake levers with brown rubber hoods. The cockpit features an aluminum handlebar stem branded Touriste with a race drop wrapped in black tape. The saddle is a black vintage Concor/San Marco style mounted on an aluminum grooved seatpost. Completing the setup are a classic metal bottle cage and wheels with aluminum Nisi rims for tubular tires.
