"Gibson of Kinghorn" supplied heads to many makers and professionals who finished and assembled golf clubs.
This patented "Genii" model mashie Niblick was supplied to J.G. Stuart in Blackpool
J. G. Stuart served as the Golf Club Secretary (or administrative officer) for Blackpool North Shore Golf Club.
Historical golfing records from the early-to-mid 20th century list him as the primary contact for visitors and club management at the course, which was established in 1904 and originally designed by the legendary architect Harry Colt.
Also on this club is H' Logan's, A scottish manufacturer of golf clubs located in Forfar. They were known for their patented irons like this iconic Logan's Genii Mashie. Hugh Logan designed and patented the club (reg.nr. 302040 ) but the actual manufacturing was done by Gibson. (the Star mark)
