A Neuchâteloise pendulum clock by Eluxa, dating from 1970–1980, made of wood with a Swiss mechanical movement, 8-day power reserve, striking the half hour with a gong, in working order despite a degraded cabinet and possible missing small parts, supplied with the original winding key, 40 cm high by 24 cm wide by 13 cm deep, origin Switzerland.
Description from the seller
Offered by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Eluxa: a classic hand-painted Neuchâteloise pendulum clock / mantel clock in an elegant burgundy finish with gilded appliqués and floral motifs.
This lot is offered as a restoration object or for high-quality parts due to transport damage to the top.
Condition and parts:
Movement: Equipped with a high-quality Swiss mechanical movement with two winding holes (runs and strikes properly).
Dial & Hands: The dial with Roman numerals and the finely detailed gold-colored hands are in a very neat, undamaged condition.
Accessories: Including the original, beautifully decorated brass winding key.
Case condition: As clearly visible in the close-up photos, the wooden/plastic hood at the top around the crown is torn. The gilded top ball, however, stands perfectly upright and securely on top, so the clock visually retains its original, complete form. This makes the object ideal for an easy restoration or reuse of the valuable parts.
The attached photos form an integral part of the description and show the exact cosmetic condition of the clock.
The lot will be packed with utmost care and securely shipped worldwide with a tracking code.
