In this auction we present a precious and elegant two-piece suit signed Missoni Donna, an authentic icon of archived Made in Italy dating from the late 1980s to the very early 1990s. This suit stands out for the extraordinary quality of the materials chosen and for the unmistakable geometric color contrast that made the house famous worldwide.
The set consists of:
1. Structured Cropped Jacket: Characterized by a modern, geometric high-waist cut, long sleeves, and a minimalist round neckline without a lapel. It features a front closure enriched by 5 large round buttons decorated with a refined geometric relief texture. The outer fabric shows a dense flame-like weave in micro-stripes in anthracite and smoke gray tones.
2. Long Choreographic Skirt: A voluminous work of art with a rich gathering that opens into a wheel from the waist. The top band of the sash is smooth and shapely, finished at the side with a row of elegant buttons and completed with a coordinated fabric belt to tie. The skirt fabric unfolds into spectacular horizontal multicolor bands with shifting shades that alternate mustard yellow, amethyst purple, slate blue, and gray.
The play of textures and sheen is given by the precious presence of silk woven together with cotton and viscose, which gives the garments a wonderful iridescent effect in natural light.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition (Grade A).
The suit has been stored with extreme care. The outer fabric retains a flawless luster and structural compactness. No rips, stains, or significant pulled threads are evident. The internal composition and size labels are intact and emit a slight, natural patina of time (vintage yellowing localized on the inner white labels, entirely normal for the era and attesting to its authenticity). All original buttons are present and secure.
