Mara. J XL - Ruby Hollow

A warm, bright pink fills the upper part of the canvas, speckled with small golden leaves that catch the light. As it descends, the color intensifies into raspberry and fuchsia tones, while the foliage becomes more defined and close. At the base the pink dissolves into plum and deep Bordeaux, brightened here and there by touches of bright green. Thin stems rise from the bottom, discreet, until they fade into the pinkish light. The surface is tactile, built up by overlapping impressions of vegetation and glazes. From it emerges a tender and vibrant image, where warmth and light merge into a single, soft harmony.
