Biography

Olivier de Tullasky (born in 1970) is a contemporary French artist who lives and works in Paris. He is known for his versatile, colorful and optimistic body of work that sits at the crossroads of pop art, urban art and contemporary figurative art.

De Tullasky creates a so-called protean (multiform) oeuvre. His technique is complex and layered; he often combines acrylic paint, oil paint, inks, Posca markers and several layers of varnish on canvas or panel.

The French painter has in recent years built up a recognizable signature through thematic series that are eagerly collected: the Asia series (including this painting), the Broken Mirrors series, the In the Depths series and the My Dogs series.

His physical paintings are permanently exhibited and sold through Galerie d'Art Pézenas (Couleurs Éternité) in southern France. At the end of 2024 his visual universe was highlighted in an exclusive artist portrait in ArtMajeur Magazine, titled "Sensory dive into the universe of Olivier de Tullasky: a vibrant contemporary aesthetic".
