U.K. Subs – Live Kicks (Netherlands), a scarce Dutch pressing on Universe Productions LS-23, first pressing from 1980, still in its original shrink wrap with NM/NM sleeve and vinyl, featuring a 31 December 1977 live recording at The Roxy Club, London.
Description from the seller
Scarce Netherlands pressing of U.K. Subs' Live Kicks on Universe Productions (LS-23), preserved in exceptional condition and still almost completely covered by its original shrink wrap. This 1980 release captures the band at a formative moment in punk history: a live performance recorded at The Roxy Club in London on 31 December 1977, featuring the early line-up of Charlie Harper, Nicky Garratt, Steve Slack and Rory Lyons. The set documents the first wave of British punk energy through early U.K. Subs classics including "C.I.D.," "I Live In A Car," "Tomorrow's Girls," "Stranglehold," "World War," "Disease," and "Telephone Numbers." Though the band themselves did not regard it as part of their official album sequence, Live Kicks holds an important place as their earliest live album document. This particular copy has only been opened along the record-entry edge to allow removal of the vinyl; the sleeve remains almost entirely protected by its original shrink wrap.
⸻
Sleeve (NM):
Exceptional condition throughout. The sleeve remains almost entirely sealed in its original shrink wrap, with only the opening edge exposed for record removal. Extremely clean with virtually no meaningful wear, grading a strong NM.
Vinyl (NM):
Beautiful Near Mint vinyl with excellent original shine and virtually no evidence of previous play. A superbly preserved copy, grading NM overall.
