Taperstick (2) - Earthenware, Alloy

Pair of candlesticks adorned with parrots in polychrome faience, depicted amid a floral setting.

Their figurative composition and colorful décor evoke the aesthetics of 18th-century French decorative arts, notably the Rocaille taste and the Louis XV style, characterized by flowing, dynamic shapes, naturalistic motifs, and inspiration from the animal world.

These candlesticks feature a silhouette with the exotic portrayal of parrots against a delicate floral backdrop. They will add a touch of elegance and character to a fireplace, a sideboard, or a display table.
