Mara J XXL presents Sunstone Woods, a 2026 original acrylic landscape painting, unframed and shipped rolled, image 150 x 55 cm on a 160 x 65 cm canvas, signed and dated 2026.
Description from the seller
In the vertical, slender format, an intense gold fills the upper part of the canvas, dense with leaves that seem lit from within. As you move downward, orange and apricot leaves appear, sharper and closer, while small touches of blue-lavender surface among the foliage. Toward the bottom, the color gathers into a deep brown, where leaves with turquoise highlights are glimpsed. Thin stems rise from the bottom and guide the gaze toward the light. The surface is tactile, built up through layers of botanical imprints and glazes. A warm and luminous image emerges, where gold seems to descend slowly toward the earth.
Signed and dated 2026 at the bottom right

Mara J. explores the beauty and intensity of nature and the human body, creating works that tell emotions and states of mind through light and form. Her landscapes evoke fluid and suspended atmospheres, where color and luminosity shape space, while human figures, delicate and introspective, become a means of emotional expression. Each painting is an invitation to immerse oneself in a world of subtle sensations, where nature and the human being intertwine in a deep dialogue.
