Studio Delu. (1976) – Mechanical Legends Collection – Michel Vaillant – “Vaillante Panaméricana No. 30”

Shadow Frame 27 × 27 cm – Mixed media – Signed work

With its Mechanical Legends collection, Studio Delu gives depth to the iconic vehicles and scenes from the comic book.

This creation highlights Vaillante Panaméricana No. 30, through a genuine page from the album The 8th Pilot (Le 8e Pilote) by Jean Graton.

The comic book becomes the setting. The car and the characters emerge from it. The action comes to life.

Each Studio Delu creation is handmade assembled. The choice of the page, the miniatures, and their arrangement give this composition its singular character.

About Studio Delu

Studio Delu (1976) transforms scenes from comics and popular culture into contemporary relief compositions. Each work combines a page from a comic with collectible objects to create a bridge between the printed image and the three-dimensional scene.

Through its Mechanical Legends, The Timeless, and The Organized Chaos collections, Studio Delu explores a universe where iconic characters, humor, nostalgia, and a passion for objects meet.

This creation is an independent artistic work made in homage to the world of Michel Vaillant, using elements from official editions.
