AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Original work by contemporary painter Juan Escauriaza, titled “Two Chimneys”, created in 2005 in acrylic on linen and signed by the artist.
The composition depicts a seemingly simple domestic architecture —a roofscape, two chimneys and an open sky— transformed into a scene of quiet and elegant atmosphere. Escauriaza works light with subtlety, achieving a nearly photographic sensation, but reinterpreted from contemporary painting.
The work stands out for:
• Great compositional balance in a panoramic format (50 x 100 cm)
• Precise treatment of light and sky
• Clean, restrained and sophisticated painting
• Contemporary aesthetics with a strong decorative character
• Signed and titled on the reverse
It is an ideal piece for modern interiors, architecture, office spaces, or private collections oriented toward high-quality contemporary figurative painting.
