Three French decorations from France, authentic original items, in very good condition, one piece, without a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Left is the knightly insignia of the French Ordre du Mérite Social (Order of Social Merit), established in 1936 and awarded by the Ministry of Labor for merit in social matters. The middle one is the Croix du combattant (Cross of the Fighters, established in 1930). Right • In the central silver section the text "AU MÉRITE" is written very clearly, and thus not the official depiction of Marianne with "République Française". • Cross and laurel: The shape of the two-headed blue star closely resembles the official French model, but the wreath behind it and the suspension on the ring (without the detailed silver oak or olive branches) point to an unofficial modification or a specific French civilian merit decoration from the early 20th century (Third Republic).
