Philippe Chevallier wrote the history of eyewear in the late sixties with bold, handmade frames for the major Paris fashion houses. He was the man who turned glasses into a couture accessory. The Whale collection translates that heritage into a contemporary design, with a detail that immediately catches the eye: the playful whale tail.

The Whale_03 is a powerful, oversized frame made of glossy black acetate. The front is layered, creating a second, recessed rim around the round lenses. This gives the frame depth and a sculptural character. The temples end in an elegant curved wire in gold-toned metal, shaped like a whale tail, subtly tucked behind the ear. Gold-colored hinges and a metal logo plate complete the look. The gray gradient lenses have filter category 2.
