Silver pocket watch, double case, movement signed John Gourlay Dunkeld. From documentation it appears that the Gourlay family has historical ties to the Dunkeld region (Scotland). Historical archives mention a John Gourlay connected to the Bishop of Dunkeld. The case bears two marks, K and DW. If we combine the 'K' with the master mark 'DW': K-mark London: Falls precisely in the year 1805. Case maker DW: Daniel Walker was at the peak of his production in 1805. The watch was therefore made in 1805.

The watch is in running condition with winding key.
