2008 Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux - Vosne-Romanée - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

Three bottles of Vosne-Romanée from the 2008 vintage from Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux are up for auction, a renowned 14-hectare estate founded in 1858 in the same village of Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits.

Previously known as Domaine Robert Arnoux, the winery changed its name in 2009 to reflect that Robert Arnoux’s son-in-law, Pascal Lachaux, had run the Domaine since 1995. Pascal Lachaux has proven to be an incredibly talented winemaker, and his ambition has led the Domaine to be regarded as one of the top producers in that renowned wine village of the Côte d'Or.

Winemaking is traditional with a very hands-off operating approach. This 2008 now shows all the depth of great Burgundy with age, with an expressive nose of red fruit, violets and tertiary notes of leather, cedar, and cigar smoke. It is now at a perfect moment to enjoy all its complexity.

It has always been kept in a climate-controlled underground cellar at 16°C with 85% humidity.
