Anton Vogler & Co., Diedesfelder Goldmorgen, a 1964 Pfalz wine from Germany, in a 0.75 L bottle, one bottle, fill level Upper Shoulder, with a blotchy but legible label and an intact cork seal.
Description from the seller
Offered is a true rarity with a history from the Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Anton Vogler winery no longer exists, and the wine site "Diedesfelder Goldmorgen" has probably emerged under a different site (likely Diedesfelder Paradies).
Regarding the history of this site, all that can be said is that it certainly existed already in 1936. On the internet, on relevant platforms, proofs of label designs from a printer in Frankfurt/Main bearing this site were traded. (see image 8)
The bottle is in very good condition for its age.
The label is still legible despite a few stains, cracks and abrasions.
The fill level is "u.s" = Upper Shoulder: a level between High Shoulder and Mid Shoulder, normal for wines over 30 years old.
The seal over the cork is intact. However, it is splattered with paint at one spot. Nothing can be said about the condition of the cork.
