AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
The Campo del Cielo meteorite reached Earth about 4,500 years ago, falling in what is now Argentina, the largest known rainfall of metallic meteorites. It was used by pre-Columbians to manufacture metal utensils and caused genuine astonishment to the Spanish conquerors upon their arrival in the Americas.
In this lot we present an authentic Campo del Cielo metallic meteorite, of an ideal size for collectors, in perfect condition, and with a completely sculptural shape. We add as a gift a neodymium magnet to help the meteorite stand upright in the desired position.
Metallic meteorites like this come from the cores of large asteroids that disintegrated due to multiple impacts in the process of forming the solar system as we know it today. An excellent opportunity to add this universe marvel to your collection.
