Beautiful and authentic 19th-century / early 20th-century holy-water font (bénitier) of heavy brass quality. 
In the center is a detailed and refined relief of the Child Jesus and Mary. 
The water reservoir on the top is elegantly shaped in the style of a Saint James' shell.

A unique and traceable specimen. On the front, in the relief, stamped with the mark "DINANT". On the back, featuring the impressed founder's mark/master mark "DL"

Prachtig en authentiek 19e-eeuws/vroeg 20e-eeuws wijwaterbakje (bénitier) van zware kwaliteit messing. 
Centraal staat een gedetailleerd en verfijnd reliëf van de het kindje Jezus en Maria. 
Het waterreservoir aan de bovenzijde is elegant vormgegeven in de stijl van een Sint-Jakobsschelp.

Uniek en traceerbaar exemplaar. Aan de voorzijde in het reliëf gemerkt met het stempel "DINANT". Aan de achterzijde voorzien van het ingeslagen gietersmerk/meesterteken "DL"
