Lanvin - Pencil Cat Nano - Handbag

A signature piece from the House of Lanvin, the Pencil Cat Nano takes its shape from the slim boxes in which Jeanne Lanvin kept her pencils. Its sculptural cat handle is inspired by an andiron designed for her by Armand-Albert Rateau, the Art Deco decorator behind her Paris apartment. This edition features a two-tone handle: polished gold-tone cat with a transparent tail.
Condition: very good, close to new. Original tags still attached. Protective film still in place on the engraved side plate. The leather is in excellent condition, with no marks, scuffs or deformation. Fine surface scratches on some small metal parts (feet, rivets, clasp), shown in close-up photos.
